Marriage License Information
Each county may have slightly different requirements, but here are general guidelines for the areas served:
Florida Counties (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay)
Both parties must apply for a marriage license Valid photo ID required Waiting period may apply for Florida residents (can be waived with premarital course) License typically valid for 60 days
Alabama Counties (Baldwin, Escambia, Mobile)
Marriage certificate forms are submitted (no traditional ceremony required by state) Notarization required Forms must be filed with probate court
