As a wedding officiant, I believe every person is deserving of dignity, respect, and kindness. I hold genuine love and goodwill toward all people regardless of their background, beliefs, or personal circumstances.
At the same time, my role as an officiant is guided by my sincerely held religious convictions regarding marriage. Based on those beliefs, I am only able to officiate marriage ceremonies between one man and one woman. Therefore, I respectfully decline requests to officiate ceremonies that do not align with these religious convictions.
This policy is not intended to express judgment, condemnation, or lack of care for anyone. Rather, it reflects my commitment to conduct wedding ceremonies in a manner consistent with my faith and conscience. I appreciate your understanding and wish every couple the very best in their marriage journey.
